TRACK | LOVE ME LIKE YOU DO | ELLIE GOULDING

Just discovered this song today and I think it's really good. I love the lyrics they really capture that feeling of love that Ellie Goulding is trying to portray in the song but also retaining an easy to listen to vibe. Ok I know it's from the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack and a lot of folk don't really like the books or the fact it's been turned into a film but take that all away and it's simply a great song. I've been listening to it on repeat and I'm loving it.

TRACK | WESTCOAST | LANA DEL REY

I've been a fan of LDR's since Born To Die and even have listened to her old music before that era. It feels like forever since she released any new material. 

Today WESTCOAST off her second album ULTRAVIOLENCE got it's first airplay on Radio 1. 

First thoughts were it was quite Black Keys-esque which makes sense as it was produced by Dan Auerbach from The Black Keys. I really love the simplicity in the heavy guitar driven ballad and Lana's usual breathy emotionally tinged vocals. Her lyrics are still amazing and despite the retro feel it still sounds fresh and she literally never disappoints me.

If this song is anything to go by I'm really looking forward to the new album dropping.

This has literally been my staple item in my wardrobe, I've worn it so much I may need to replace it soon. Every girl needs a good faux-leather biker jacket.

Of all the eyeliners I have used before and I have used a lot this is quite possibly the best so far. I've always been a fan of Max Factor's make-up and this was just another addition to my favourites from them. Honestly it is the only waterproof eyeliner I have found that stays on all day and the black is so pigmented.

I'm not one for gory TV shows let alone crime thrillers or horrors but I have been enjoying Hannibal so far.

I never used to buy Company I had always stuck to reading Empire, Total Film, Kerrang or Glamour but I really have been liking this magazine. It's nice to see such an emphasis put on street style and bloggers.

Book

I have read this so many times its getting ridiculous and my book is getting such a bad state I've resorted to reading it on kindle instead. I love a good old classic novel.

Pride and Prejudice

I've been a fan of Paramore's since 2005 and I've bought every album and loved them all. This album is a completely different direction for them but there are some great tunes on this album. My favourite songs are Ain't It Fun & Last Hope.
